What do you miss most about the BCB during the pandemic lockdown?
-
I miss Al Eady’s smooth sax sounds!! Mostly I miss seeing everyone.
-
I miss everything and everyone
-
I miss being a Band Geek.
-
The chance to play and perform with a great bunch of musicians!
-
@gordon I miss having that regular scheduled time pencilled in my calendar for Monday evenings band rehearsals: Sitting with my colleagues in the saxophone sections. Like @renata I miss seeing the band members in the other sections, and working together on the selection of music in our folder. It's been too long ... admittedly, I am not as motivated to maintain diligence in my practice habit at home.

Showcasing what it means to be in the premier section of the band.

I miss performing with amazing musicians. I am especially missing getting to know more about individual band members of BCB. I am always awed by the backgrounds, skills, talents, interests and experiences that I learn about, when talking with people. Such an interesting group of which to be a part. And yes, I must admit I am missing Al's smooth sax sounds! (Al and I played together 38 years ago...and neither of us look any different today!)

I miss playing absolutely! And I miss the social aspect of the band. I miss the flute players. Even the sax players ha ha! I miss the wonderful positive feelings I get when I’m playing with my friends. I miss you all!
-
I miss the laughs. The clarinet section always has a great time joking around with each other.
-
A dedicated time to play trumpet once a week + the social aspect - although I've managed to keep in touch with many of you.
I will really miss playing the small fun summer events outdoors in the community. Here's looking at you 2021! -

That we do. Sometimes we have too much fun. Apologies in advance @joanner.
