After careful thought, I would like to play this piece in BCB. I like this arrangement... playing it currently in Top Hats. I showed my part to others in my section, and some said they would also like to play this! -
@gordon I've been wondering about some of the Tragically Hip pieces. The Downey lyrics stand out, but there are obviously some tuneful and powerful pieces that might work. "Courage" as the finale? "Ahead by a Century" to kick off? Maybe "38 Years Old," "Fireworks," "Nautical Disaster"? It doesn't look like anyone has done a concert band arrangement but, er, don't we have some in-house arrangers?
