I dabble in a lot of things when not actually rehearsing with my 8 musical groups. Often I will sub with other groups when needed, but when at home, I knit, sew and crochet, ride my bike, have coffee with friends, and putter in the garden. Paul and I like to travel and take pictures. I do a lot of cooking and baking, and like trying new recipes. Retirement allows me the privilege of doing what I want, most of the time. Life is good, very, very good!

Gardening. I like starting seeds indoors in late winter, although they don't always make it out to the garden alive. I also read a lot of news, and am improving my French by reading Maigret novels in French, which has become very relaxing and fun. [Older readers may know that Maigret is a police inspector in mystery novels by Georges Simenon.] I also exercise by walking on a treadmill - five miles a week, but it isn't exactly a hobby as it is not fun. When we can return to travelling with less restrictions, I will do some!

My hobbies are mostly centered around crafting as well. I like to knit, embroider, sew, quilt. I also always have a book or two on the go. I read a variety of books, both fiction and nonfiction, and I am a member of a very active book club.

In addition to cycling and rock climbing, I've recently gotten back into video gaming. Not that I have much time for it, with the two little ones!

The time between the kids' bedtimes and my bedtime is precious... 🥱

Being active, especially outdoors (hiking/cycling/etc). Would love to go back to playing squash and soccer when kids are older.
                      Travelling.
Trying new recipes and experimenting with flavours.
                      Painting, drawing and writing.

                      ~ Lisa

                        Beading!!!!
I am getting ready for the Pow Wow back "home", aka the Champion of Champions on the 4th weekend of July.
Otherwise, I enjoy some cooking...corn soup, rabbit, bison and venison stews, Indian tacos, and cookies. The family loves my chocolate chip and soft pumpkin cookies, they disappear quickly! Other activities include knitting, reading and creating new drinks (I was a Bartender once upon a time ago).
