What is your favourite piece to play as an encore?

If it hasn't already been played during the regular Christmas program, it's got to be Leroy Anderson's Sleigh Ride.

Radetzky March! It is used extensively in Continental Europe for encores and I think Gordon might agree with me on this choice.

Okay...it's between two marches (which will please Gord to no end!!) which I played and love. The first one is "The Voice of the Guns" and the second one is "Washington Post", both which I still have memorized oddly enough!
P.S. For those who don't appreciate marches then my choice would be the "1812 Overture " which I played when in BTTB...Played under Boris Brott. We had real cannons too! It was a great closer...after the last chord was played by us, the fireworks started. This would be fun to do again.... -
I'm going to have to second Radetzky, especially if you can get the audience involved! A great traditional encore.
