It wasn't Bill Jerome's Dad that was ill, it was Bill himself who has since passed away.

May I take this opportunity to express my heartfelt condolence to you and Barb on this significant death. When did Bill die? As a long time member of BCB, Bill will be dearly missed by his colleague and friends in the Trumpet Section and others in the band who knew him quite well.
