Minutes here. Not to the standard of Renata, but here ya go.
It was a long meeting, with alot of info. Please review and let me know of any corrections.

@shewis @executive From the minutes - "Also, Jef asked if is there a way to give people a receipt for donation in kind for services to the band – i.e. Library, Treasurer, Trailer donation for parade? Gordon would like to see a policy. Tabled to a later date".
I did mention that we cannot issue donation receipts for people's time. If people get reimpbursed for things, and then choose to donate that money back, receipts can be issued as usual, and if someone buys something for the band and gives us the receipt, I can issue an in kind donation receipt. As Treasurer, I have almost no expenses to charge to the band, and things like paper, ink, and stamps are all bundled in with our household expenses and not worth the trouble. Otherwise, my time spent on band activities does not qualify for a tax receipt.
Some situations aren't as straightforward, and we can consider them on a case by case basis.

@cliftonjv That's fine, and as it was at the end of a long meeting, i just made note of it to be discussed at a later date. Your explanation here helps, so that we could (if we wanted to) set a policy for this kind of thing.

@shewis I didn't mean to sound critical of the minutes; I just wanted to clarify, particularly as it concerns my job as treasurer. Thanks for doing a good set of minutes. Jane
